Four years of scClim: achievements, legacy, and what's next
The project ends, but its tools, insights, and partnerships continue to grow.
Closing event of scClim project
On 5 Feb 2026, the scClim community convened in the Semperaula of ETH Zurich for the project's closing event. After a summary presentation about the scientific insights gained in the project, various key project stakeholders provided their experiences about the project and about hail risk in general, and the event was concluded with discussions about directions for future collaborations and projects.
ScClim researchers present their results at the European Conference on Severe Storms 2025 in Utrecht
With seven oral presentations and four poster contributions, the scClim project was strongly represented at the biannual ECSS conference in Utrecht, Netherlands.
Discussions and perspectives at the annual scClim stakeholder workshop
At the 2024 scClim stakeholder workshop hosted by Swiss Re, we had an extensive update among the project’s scientists and stakeholders, including an interactive part to collect feedback and ideas about the project and future directions.
